An ethical and supportive approach:
Since 2005, the manufacture of bags and accessories has been entrusted to two work assistance structures (ESAT) in the Marseille region.
These structures, commonly known as CATs, provide people with disabilities with professional activities and medico-social and educational support in order to promote their personal and social development.
An ecological approach:
By recycling sails at the end of their useful life, Les Toiles du Large avoids cluttering up the waste collection centres with non-recyclable material.
Several thousand square meters of sails are processed per year. More than 95% of every sail collected is recycled.
Entirely carried out in Provence, the transformation of sails limits the carbon footprint linked to transport.
The materials used in the manufacture of the products are manufactured in France or Europe.
Thus, choosing Les Toiles du Large is like buying a favorite with a responsible and supportive approach, naturally in line with the philosophy of sustainable development.
